7 Best Las Vegas Pool Parties

May 31, 2021 | Entertainment, Las Vegas

Pool parties are one of the many things that make Las Vegas one of the most desired places to go for a trip. If you are the type of person who enjoys drinking and dancing under the desert sun while an excellent selection of music blared near water, these daytime festivities are suited for you. Unfortunately, the dreaded COVID-19 pandemic has managed to have a dramatic impact on the pool party scene.

Some of these pool parties are currently in operation, but they have set up a limited capacity, and no general admission is allowed. Furthermore, these places require you to make a reservation for tables, cabana, daybeds, or bungalows. Doing so will offer you a chance to get a spot that allows you to catch some sun rays, order bottled services, and enjoy the music over the sound system. However, not every place has some big-name DJs currently playing, so you’ll be getting a more watered-down experience. Dancing is also somewhat restricted to reserved spots, and you will have to keep a mask on when you are not drinking and eating.

With that said, let’s go over which pool parties are currently open and which of them are excellent places for you to hit up during your trip to Las Vegas.

1. Daylight Beach Club

When it comes to deciding on a Las Vegas pool party, Daylight Beach Club is one of the best places to start your journey into the world of pool clubbing. Aside from the infamous wave pool and lazy river, this venue offers its guests 50,000 square feet for performances from some of the best DJs and other musical acts such as Eric D-Lux, DJ Scene, E-Rock, Baauer, DJ Mustard, and Scooter & Lavelle.

Daylight has installed six massive LED screens, 25 cabanas, 70 daybeds, and a 5,000 square foot pool. If you are looking to quince your thirst, the club provides you with a host of excellently prepared frozen cocktails. The club is located in Mandalay Bay, so if you’re interested in going to an exciting pool party, then head on over there and enjoy yourself.

2. Drai’s Beach Club

Located on top of The Cromwell on the 11th floor, Drai’s dominates one of the busiest intersections in Las Vegas. The daytime has the beach pool party turn into a wild pool parity right out of some Hollywood movie. Once the evening starts, it transforms into an upscale high-voltage nightclub. The day club had an excellent view of some of the best scenery around, such as the Red Rock Maintains in the distance and the Bellagio fountains across the street.

The central pool has palm trees surrounding it and a white structure with pink curtains covering the 15 second-floor cannabis facilities equipped with HD TVs. Of course, with all of the hard-pounding music provided by a live DJ, it’s doubtful anyone is spending too much time watching TV. The two-story indoor space overlooks the day club pool and has a glistening black semi-circular counter and horseshoe DJ site encircled by pillars adorned with mirrors. It also has seven control table operators behind the DJ for an unsurpassed visual of a 270-degree wraparound video wall and ceiling video panels, which provide a constant stream of optical illumination.

The VIP tables and booths circle the dance floor and equal the second-floor private balcony spaces,  padded with black imitation crocodile covering highlighted with pink and orange. The sound system is one of the best ones around, and the music will cause your entire body to vibrate, making it a non-stop flow of music to get your heart pumping.

3. Wet Republic

The Wet Republic has made the MGM grand its home. The club provides a playground that will make partygoers feel like they are some of Hollywood’s elite visiting a superb party for them. The Wet Republic has blended the most suitable ingredients of Vegas nightlife with the best poolside comforts to create the ultimate party experience. The club delivers several experiences for its guests, whether they want to relax over some cocktails by the poolside lounge, relax in the exclusive VIP bungalows, or revel in the party scene on the center pool deck or cabanas.

As of recently, the massive pool at the MGM grand underwent a $3,574 million renovation to 18,400 square feet of space. They also expanded the DJ booth, upgraded the LED display, improved the bar, and added new furniture. The recent renovations also included six new VIP bungalows outfitted with furniture and misting fans. Lastly, they have added three new private plunge pools for partygoers to enjoy.  The number of restrooms and shower facilities has also increased, and the shaded areas have also been extended.

4. TAO Beach

Similar to the nightclub, TAO Beach is an eastern-inspired pool party that is located in the Venetian. During the daytime, partygoers can lounge by the poolside on one of the cabanas that have several features, such as air-conditioning, high def plasma screen TVs with gaming consoles, WiFI, and customized minibars. The place also offers services such as sunglasses leaning and poolside massages. Daybeds line up the landscape throughout an 18,000 square foot oasis which boasts a 30-foot bar where visitors can order martinis and mojitos crafted by some of the freshest ingredients.

The place is open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday in the summer. The sunnyside venue also grants you access to a myriad of VIP tables for bottle services. Once the daytime starts to go down, partygoers will find themselves in an open-air night post showing off two 14-foot long fire columns and high energy music from all sorts of talented DJs playing the top 40 and hip hop.

5. Liquid Pool

The Liquid Pool is located at the Aria and is the only pool area found behind the Aria resorts three other pools. Unlike the other pools found there, this one is intended for adults. The venue has a bar feature that contains an extensive champagne list ranging from $15 for a house glass to $17,500 for a 1.5-liter bottle of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. The Liquid Pool is only 16,000 square feet, making it a much smaller and intimate place compared to other Las Vegas pool parties. Visitors can settle down in one of the eight luxurious private cabanas, each of them equipped with 40 massive screen televisions, a mini-fridge, and private pools.

If you want to be closer to where all of the action is happening, you can chill out on one of the many chaise lounges or daybeds that surround the two pools. Sunbathers can take a break for some sun rays and order off a menu filled with excellent dishes. The menu includes Mahi Mahi Tacos, coconut shrimp, and mojitos. The main deck has the party going wild, with DJs and fruit-infused cocktails. If you want a more chill time at a pool party, then this is the place to go. If it’s not your type, then head towards another party on the list for a more crazy time.

6. Encore Beach Club

Encore Beach Club can be located at the Wynn Resort. This Las Vegas beach club has a 60,000 square foot space surrounded by lounges, couches, daybeds, cabanas, bungalows, three pools, lily pads, a gaming pavilion, and a state-of-the-art sound system. EBC hosts a unique Thursday night pool party known as Thursday Nightswim. During these days, the place hosts an assortment of talented DJs such as David Guetta, Morgan Page, Tommy Trash, Kygo, Major Lazer, Max Vengeli, and much more. Encore Beach Club remains open throughout the summer season, so you can visit between March to October.

7. Bare Pool

Bare Pool is located at the Mirage and provides partygoers a sophisticated atmosphere that allows you to take in some sun and do it topless if you’re a woman. At the Bare Pool, you will see a 14,000 square foot hideaway that encourages European-style sunbathing, aka topless.

The place also features two luxurious dipping pools, a service bar, six plasma screen TVs, poolside daybeds, chaise lounges, and some well-equipped cabanas. The venue provides an intimate atmosphere that relaxes you more than any other day club since it lacks the frenzied pace other pool parties are known for in Vegas. Bare also invites guest DJs from Thursday through Monday to a unique party held on Mondays.
